Nests - Community Circle - Autumn 2026

We want every child to have a relationship with the land, and we recognize that access has never been equal.

Reduced Rate — 5 slots held in recognition of those affected by the histories of land dispossession and unequal access to outdoor space that shape whose kids get to grow up in nature. If this describes your family, we welcome you here at whatever rate you're able to pay.

Standard Rate — Our standard rate, for families joining at full cost.

Solidarity Rate — A rate for allies/families who can give a bit more.

Nests Little & Grown-Up Community Circle is a child-led, nature-based, mixed-age outdoor program where caregivers practice listening to and attuning to their children and the land.

Sunday Nests is held in Edgewood Park in New Haven's Westville neighborhood.

A day in Sunday Nests may look like feeding the ducks at the pond, balancing across a fallen log, wading at the river's edge, digging for worms and roly-polies, gathering acorns and seed pods for a process art project, building a stick fort in the grove, racing leaf boats off the wooden bridge, rolling down the big hill, or settling into quiet handwork by the water.
